I had the pleasure of listening to this on Saturday evening while my better half was on night shift and the kids were sound asleep in bed. T’was a very pleasant Saturday evening indeed.
I’ve seen Marco performing live a few times, I’ve even seen Carlos Adolfo Dominguez in his pomp but I’ve never known him as a DJ. He’s a very talented producer who makes incredibly good records (Detroit always springs to mind when I listen to Marco’s music). So it really shouldn’t have came as a surprise that this mix is damn good. It kinda did though. I’m not really sure what most of the records are on this mix but I thoroughly enjoyed listening to them and I hope you do too.
Surrounded by Detroit Techno & Chicago House, Marco Bernardi aka the Parking Attendant makes an appealing space-house. On the occasion of the next Creme organization party at the Batofar (Paris), he will share with us its new treasures. “This mix has turned out pretty Dutch sounding and is exactly where my head is at at the moment. I could have put up a tracklist together for it, however some are unreleased tracks of mine, some are future Creme/R-zone shit and others I have no idea what they are as they are either demos or up and coming white labels….plus shazam needs the business”.
