Mix Of The Week//Mungo’s Hi -Fi & Stalawa Sound

Mungo’s Hi Fi & Stalawa Sound – 60 years of Studio One Mix

Having recently been reminded on our Mix of The Week feature of the abundance of niceness that comes out of Glasgow, I would like to add Mungos Hi Fi to the niceness.

These guy’s continue to represent world wide and having recently returned to The Art School in Glasgow, I would like to use this opportunity to big them up and wish them all the best on their return.  Art school parties are fun!  I have listened many many times to this mix since it’s creation… It’s a truly uplifting experience.  I have found myself listening to the mix of Marcia Griffiths – Feel like jumping /Sister Nancy & Sister Carol – Feel like Dubplate (Live Snippet) over and over again.  Superb.  Mungos HiiFI  & Stalawa Sounds put together this gem before the recent Walk and Skank gig at The Berkeley Suite to give humble tribute to Studio One and celebrate their 60th anniversary.

Mungo’s Hi -Fi & Stalawa Sound In just one hour blitz through the classics in a true Mungo’s Hi-Fi style!
